From the Victorian and Edwardian garden suburb of Merton Park to the villas of South Park Gardens and Wimbledon Chase, Merton has a wealth of period brickwork. We’ve been repointing properties like these for over 35 years.
Merton Park — developed from the 1860s onwards by John Innes as one of London’s earliest garden suburbs — forms the John Innes conservation area, with avenues of Victorian and Edwardian villas on Mostyn, Dorset and Sheridan Roads, many still with their original tree plantings and holly hedges. Nearby, South Park Gardens conservation area near Wimbledon station contains further fine Victorian and Edwardian houses.
Wimbledon Chase, to the west, is also a conservation area of Edwardian and Victorian terraced houses with red-brick facades and bay windows. We work to the correct lime mortar specification across Merton Park, South Wimbledon, Raynes Park and the surrounding areas.

“Chris is a craftsman and master pointer. He made a really beautiful job of repointing the whole side of our building. I can’t recommend him highly enough.”
