About London Brickwork Repointing
Lime mortar repointing and brick restoration in London since 1989
Who we are
London Brickwork Repointing is a specialist brickwork and lime mortar repointing contractor based in Hackney, East London. We have been repointing and restoring brickwork across London and the Home Counties since 1989, which gives us over 35 years of hands-on experience with period, Victorian, Georgian and listed buildings.
We are friendly, reliable tradesmen. Chris visits your property, gives you the quote and oversees every project personally from start to finish.
What we do
Our main work is lime mortar repointing for older houses, including weather-struck, flush and tuck pointing finishes. We also do chimney repointing and repairs, brick cleaning and restoration, brick tinting, Helifix crack repairs, garden and parapet walls, pebbledash and render removal and new brickwork. The full list is on our services page.
How we work
We match the lime mortar, brick and joint finish to your property, so every repair blends in rather than stands out. Every job starts with a free site visit and an honest, no-obligation quote. The written quote covers all labour, materials and scaffolding, with no hidden charges, and no work starts without your agreement.
We arrange scaffolding and access for you, keep the site tidy while we work, and walk round the finished job with you before we clear the site and take all waste away. Afterwards we give simple aftercare advice on lime mortar curing, and we are always available by phone or WhatsApp if you have questions.
Insurance and reviews
We are fully insured and hold public liability insurance. We are rated 5.0 from 8 reviews on Google, and you can read what our customers say on our reviews page. Photos of finished jobs are in our gallery and before and after pages.
Where we work
We are based in London and cover Greater London and the surrounding Home Counties, including Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey. See the full list of areas we serve.
